The joint English-taught MSc “AI for Sustainable Business Development” is offered through the collaboration between the University of the Aegean and Royal Holloway, University of London, and focuses on the intersection of artificial intelligence and sustainable business development. The programme is designed to provide students with knowledge and skills developed at the interface of technology, management, and sustainability, with the aim of enabling the use of AI to address complex challenges in the contemporary business world.
The MSc promotes a clearly interdisciplinary approach, combining data science, algorithmic techniques, machine learning, business analytics, and tools for integrating AI into corporate sustainability practices. At the same time, it places particular emphasis on the ethical and responsible use of artificial intelligence, so that graduates can understand not only the technological potential of AI, but also its social, economic, and organisational implications.
Upon successful completion of the programme, graduates are expected to apply AI and data analytics techniques to real sustainability challenges, integrate AI into sustainable business models, support evidence-based strategic decision-making, and work effectively in interdisciplinary environments with stakeholders from industry, the public sector, and society. The programme is also aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, strengthening students’ academic and professional preparation for an international and rapidly evolving environment.
