The structure of the joint MSc “AI for Sustainable Business Development” is designed to be completed within one full academic year and to award a total of 90 ECTS, in line with Level 7 of the National and European Qualifications Framework. The programme is organised into two academic semesters of 30 ECTS each and a summer period during which students complete a 30 ECTS dissertation.
In the first semester, led by the University of the Aegean, students follow six 6-ECTS modules focusing on core technical areas of artificial intelligence and sustainable business development.
In the second semester, led by Royal Holloway, University of London, students follow four 7.5-ECTS modules focusing on business applications of AIand Research and Consulting Methods, making up another 30 ECTS. The remaining 30 ECTS correspond to the dissertation carried out during the summer period.
The teaching and learning process is delivered through a mixed methods approach which includes distance learning through the use of digital platforms such as Moodle and Open eClass and synchronous tools like Zoom and BigBlueButton, as well as in-person attendance. This approach gives a strong emphasis on student engagement, group work, case studies, and the constructive alignment between modules, learning outcomes, and assessment methods.

The curriculum outlined above is illustrative. The number, type, and content of the courses in the curriculum, as well as their distribution across semesters, may be adjusted by decision of the Joint Academic Committee to ensure the smooth operation of the Joint Master’s Program.
The language of instruction for the courses is ENGLISH.
The language in which the thesis must be written is ENGLISH.
