The MSc "AI for Sustainable Business Development" is committed to providing students with comprehensive support throughout their studies, through a broad range of services and infrastructure offered by the University of the Aegean.
Welcome & Integration
At the start of the Programme, a dedicated welcome meeting is organised by the Programme Director and teaching staff, covering academic requirements, study organisation and available support services. Ongoing assistance is accessible via the Secretariat and technical support officers, both by telephone and electronically.
Student Welfare & Living
The University of the Aegean operates Student Welfare Offices across all six island campuses. Student restaurants provide breakfast, lunch and dinner throughout the academic year. Free accommodation is available to eligible students, with a total of 672 beds across the university's campuses. Students without other health coverage are entitled to full medical and hospital care through the National Health System (EOPYY) and may obtain a European Health Insurance Card (EHIC).
Academic & Career Support
Students have access to the University of the Aegean Library, including electronic databases and scientific journals. Academic Advisors from the teaching staff offer guidance on educational and professional development. The Internship Office connects students with the labour market through placements related to their field of study. The Erasmus+ Office supports student and staff mobility both within and beyond the EU. The Liaison Office provides information on scholarships, job opportunities, career counselling, and organises Career Days with public and private sector stakeholders.
Psychological Support
The University's Network of Psychological Support Counselling Stations offers counselling and primary psychosocial support to students and all members of the university community.
Digital Infrastructure & Tools
Students are provided with a university e-mail account, access to the Eduroam wireless network, VPN, the Electronic Secretariat (Uni-Student) for grades and course registration, DELOS 365 (Microsoft Office 365 with up to 100GB storage), a €100 Microsoft Azure voucher, and access to the distance learning platforms eClass, Moodle and BigBlueButton.
